Concept #4 is a double cone, an allusion to archaic and historical formal vocabulary. The surfaces of the two cones stand partly at right angles to the base area. From this angle, the double cone is an optical paradox – at the same time the point of contact between the surface of two cones and a vertical plane. The result is a fascinating geometric body which constantly changes with the perspective, the effect being at once archaic and modern.
